Clamshell bucket grab
The bucket grab is a hydraulic attachable unit for special carriage, used for handling loose materials such as sand, gravel or soil. The bucket grab has a large opening width due to this the buckets practically do not leave any ‘left overs’. The widely positioned shell pivots ensure good digging features and high closing force. The hydraulic system in very simple and reliable for service due to usage of a single hydraulic cylinder. Grab frame rebuts design is reached by advanced FEM studies.
Bearing axels are made of tool alloy steel. It includes 360-degree continuous rotation on a heavy-duty bearing and shell cutting edges made for high strength, abrasion-resistant material (HARDOX 400). The grabs provide high durability and low maintenance, reducing costumers’ downtime.
Application for waste metals disposal, stones, woods loading, unloading and moving. RK Machinery grabs are compatible with KOMATSU, KOBELCO, HITACHI, KATO, SUMITOMO, CATERPILLER, VOLVO, DOOSAN, HYUNDAI, DAEWOO excavators.
